Holistic Pediatric Healthcare - for our community
Sanctuary Pediatrics was started out of a desire to help meet the pediatric healthcare needs of our local community here in the Northern Colorado Springs and Monument area. As parents of 3 boys, we realize how important it is to have local, available, individualized care. At Sanctuary Pediatrics we believe that every child and family is unique, which is why we focus on personalized care that is designed to meet the specific needs of your child—whether they’re dealing with a chronic condition, struggling with mental health concerns, or simply needing basic care for an illness.
Our mission is to nurture your child’s health by addressing the root causes of health issues rather than simply chasing symptoms. We combine the best of modern pediatric care with the principles of functional holistic medicine to provide a comprehensive, whole-child approach to health and wellness.
We are committed is to go beyond conventional treatments by looking at how different factors like nutrition, lifestyle, environment, genetics, and stress contribute to a child’s well-being. We partner with you as parents and caregivers to create an integrative, holistic plan that promotes long-term health and vitality, so you can raise happy healthy kids.
We believe your kids deserve timely, accessible care and you deserve a local partner to help you raise happy, healthy kids.
Let’s do it. Together!

Jessica began her career as a RN in internal medicine and quickly moved to pediatric care. She focused her skills and experience while providing care to children at Seattle Children’s Hospital as part of a med-surg team where she managed pre- and post-op transplant and heart surgeries. After moving to Colorado, she joined the Colorado Children’s Hospital network in the Urgent Care and ER settings where she was knit into the local greater-Colorado Springs area.
Her passion for children’s health, however, lies in preventative initiatives and education offered through primary care services. This led her to enhance her education and earn a Master of Science in Nursing and to become a board-certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner. While providing pediatric primary care at a small clinic in Colorado Springs, she identified the need for additional pediatric clinics in the area, especially in Northern El Paso County.
With a drive to never stop learning, her desire is to bring the skills and experience she has gained through the years and combine it with continued education in functional medicine in order to provide the best care for the children in our area.
Outside of work, Jessica enjoys spending time with her husband and three boys. She loves doing plenty of puzzles and board games, and also enjoys the outdoors—hiking, kayaking, and traveling.
